Framing
Framing a pole building involves numerous structural details and precise construction methods. This section highlights the fundamentals—key components, terminology, and the sequence of work—so you understand what goes into your build. You can also review a simplified, step-by-step guide to the framing process.
Construction Process
The first step in building a pole building is obtaining the required building permit. Proof of an approved permit must be provided before construction can begin. Once the permit is secured, the next step is working with a draftsman to create your building design. After the layout is finalized, you’ll select the finishing details such as colors, door styles, and other features to customize your building. Construction then begins, at which point the blueprints are finalized and no further changes can be made. Once construction is complete, your new pole building is ready to be put to use.
